I've got a new Rolex on my wrist....

And it feels good! My new GMT II (2003, but new to me!) on my wrist.

Congratulations. That is a true classic. The GMT IIc is beautiful and will probably be a classic someday. The GMT II is a classic NOW.

Where it well.

Props...shout out!

...as my 13 year old cousin would say!

Nice job hound! I believe some refer to that as the "Root Beer" (since the blue/red is a Pepsi & the black/red a Coke...if I am wrong see follow on posts for the right info!). You must have had your eye on that for a while as it's not the most common flavor GMT out there. In any case, congratulations from one NJ guy to another!

Enjoy and wear in good health!

Yes! It did. Cost me $4750, and it's a 2003 model. I had my local jeweler take a look at it and give his blessing. This week I'm making the trip to the Rolex service center in NYC and I'll get my free service estimate/authentication. I'm really happy with it. I actually feel more important just walking around wearing it!
