It's not that I give a toss about the designers which the queen of emo gets to verbally assault. As most of them know as much about style as the big headed spoilt punk clone herself. It's the concept behind it. The idea that this misshapen tranny-a-like represents all that is en vogue about Britain that grieves me.It's not the programme I give a toss about really. It's the idea that this rag bag brat is construed as the arbiter of British style which is offending me.

Could not agree more Amanda she is in about every pleb mag on sale in the UK.And in the tabloid papers daily bad or good publicity still makes her money.Her mother has got into the act now,at the moment they are both in so called celebrity big brother.In the UK now our TV is all these so called reality TV celebrity this and that.The latest is celebrities on ice,best place for them better if they froze them thawed out if ever needed.I would like to see celebrity darts where the dartboard was the so called celebs.And the public could throw real darts at them for prizes,now that would be a great show.

As long as these shows rate, as long as people buy these magazines and buy the products these people promote - we'll be stuck with reality tv

Have to say I quite like the Ultimate Fighter and The Contender Reality shows in the US.. but they are more sports driven and have fighters that actually know what they are doing and have worked hard to get where they are.

I heard that that Shannon Doherty scrag is doing a reality show about couples in loveless crap relationships actually breaking up.. shows the lot!! Jerry Springer eat your heart out.....

Well Amanda Gods knows for how much longer these useless so called plebs are going to be tolerated?. The BBC, ITV and Channel 4 should hang there heads in shame.But non celebs like Goody, Jordon, etc have become the backbone of UK TV.Goody did have a go at starting a business - a beauty salon called Ugly's. Just about sums up how bloody stupid and useless she is,the place has just closed down.But complaints about these alleged celebrities is directly linked to the low standards of the younger audience.As it is, these celebs ride on a huge wave of cash, thrown at them by a celeb mad nation.By now fed on these crap celeb tasteless shows, who wouldn't now recognise quality shows. If it kicked their front door down, whilst wearing a T shirt proclaiming 'I'm real quality'.Perhaps I am just getting older,but at least there is still the off switch.

Padi, I think half the problem is that a section of the public want to know as much personal information about a celebrity as possible... you get the same old 'real' celebrity crap inthe magazines and thats it. So along comes a show like BB with contestants that aren't clever enough to be able to hide the inner workings of their personalities.. they then become characters, when in fact all you are seeing is who they are! People love to get the dirt on other people.....

Anyways I only flick through those types of magazines to look at everyone's wrists, I am just looking for watches and I only read them for FREE... never would I buy one of those crappy magazines!

Agree Amanda 100% but you have much better tastes like some of these so called celebs.Take the beckhams although he sometimes wears some good watches,both now seem to wear Jacobs&Co just goes to show they have know real taste.But most of these celeb type don't pay for there luxury goods like the likes of you and myself with our hard earned cash.

Just to expand on that thought Padi, when the Formula 1 race comes to Montreal, I had and "inside view" behind the scenes a few times, if you wish and Michael Schumacher(Omega Speedmaster, the red one) would have a case of these watches, probably 100 or so and give them away to people he knew at the race, free. Doing it just for PR.....and no I didnt get one!!
It is amazing the amount of free stuff these celebs get.....and they are the ones who can afford it

I regularly go to Borders, have a coffee and look through the US imported trash magazines.... People magazine have this 'style' issue where they actually show celebs using particular handbags, boots, jewellery etc and then have corresponding pages showing women what goods they can buy to obtain the same 'look' - its blatant advertising and promoting items of substantial value to people who generally cant afford this type of fashion. They wonder why women have self image issues/weight problems and why women are becoming the biggest sector of the community to be in financial trouble, sometimes owing 2-3times their annual salary on credit cards - its this type of attitude from the media that promotes it!! Plus peoples never ending need to acquire material possessions!!
