which is your most accurate rolex ?
I have many different rolexes. However the most accurate is my 1997 GMT II.
It looses only 5 secs in a week !!. Second is daytona. Personally I think every watch is different. This makes rolex special . |

They're all pretty accurate, even my 23-year old GMT II. But if forced to guess, I'd say my Daytona.

My M16610 gains about 2 or 3 sec per day, and looses about 2 seconds at night. (crown up) Couldn't really ask for better accuracy.

As I only have the one.......16613 T
It wins! +2/day Best I ever had was a 30 year old 1601 with a 1570 movement. Dead flat 0 for month after month after month.

Well its been my experience in over 30 years around Rolex watches they have all been very accurate.Myself now not anal about timekeeping gave that up many many years ago.As long as they keep around COSC spec or so whats in a few seconds a day either way.I have a old Rolex Unicorn from 1922 I wear quite a bit that one always amazes me for a old timer how accurate that one is and without the aid of a parachrome hairspring.

My SD is spot on, however my new GMT IIC loses about 2.5 secs...again so much for the new parachrome. There seems much variation even with the same movements, perhaps during assembly there are some technicians/watchmakers that strive for better results, while others just get them within COSC specs.

My 14060 (which was recently serviced) is about +2 sec a week.
My 14060M is about +4 sec a week. My others are on average +2 a day. :-) |

My most accurate Rolex is my fairly old 14270, that was spot on for the first seven years during ordinary daily use. Yes, spot on! I adjusted it two times a year (day light savings). I used it daily and stored it in the same position every night. Whilst travelling I had it on my wrist 24 hours a day, and then it deviated some, but that could be picked up by help of position. I dropped it quite badly on its seventh year and it started to gain a minute every two to three months after that (had it serviced after ten years... but it was still within twenty to thirty seconds a month) It is still as accurate. Actually all my Nivarox based watches are fairly accurate since I know how to regulate them by position.
My newer, parachrome blue based watches are the most consistent, just as expected, and less sensitive to position, so they are not as "accurate"... but very consistently delivering at -1 to +2 seconds a day regardless of what I do. Best, A |

My 16610. Easily regulated to near spot-on with a little strategic positioning at night. I've been very impressed with its precision in the 6+ months I've owned it.
