OK to be honest; it appears to be what he claims it be. That said cut $500 off the price and you will have a TRF deal.

It looks very nice, but this is a no-date... Price appears a bit high.

looks good, price too is reasonable too. I would honestly pay that amount for an unworn Air-King any day of the week.

Notice any thing funny ?!!

Seller's sold 3 Rolex watches in short order. All are NIB yet early 2000's by serial letter. Y, K and (listing removed by eBay......... VERY INTERESTING !!!) The last issue tells me that the first buyer by sale date filed a claim very quickly with Pay Pal back in January. This seller's running a Ponzi scheme. Never empties his account so as long as PayPal continues to recover their funds, any excess the seller keeps. I'm sure the seller is making money on the shipping charges too. Until the negative feedback builds up, this seller will keep on going. He is banking on the embarrassment factor from keeping a buyer leaving negative feed back as must will not admit they were scammed as long as they get restitution.

yes, but according to seller, he had another 'unworn' and of 'variation' (but he did not mention what is the variation). I posted the photo that seller mail me.

I also contacted a 'friend' who bought from same seller, and buyer confirmed watch is authentic.

what puzzle me is that seller seems to mail me the 'same' photo, see number on paper

interesting, ha ?

exactly, that's what worries me

ask seller regarding the number, he normally take 2~3 days to reply. may be too many questions to handle

see below reply from seller, so what should I do next ? ask for a photo showing 8 on 8 (I learnt this in TRF)???
>>>
If you look at the model and serial number of the watch you found on the other Internet web site, you will notice they are exactly the same as mine.
The model number: 14000 and the serial number P839585, are identical to the one on the paperwork in the picture I sent you.
You have done me a great favor, as this person is attempting to sell my watch. He may either be trying to buy it from me, then sell it again at a higher price.

I now ask you for your help - 1.) How much is he asking for the watch and 2.) What Internet web site is he listing it on?

You may have helped me so much, I may let you have it at a greatly reduced price!!!

HFLO, at this point, I think I'd go to someone like Bodybump (Oscar) or DavidSW on our forum. As it stands, there are three sellers of the same watch by serial number, using the same photos. One on TRF and two on eBay. The one on TRF has just barely met the required number of posts required to sell. The two on eBay have very low feedback numbers. This whole thing smells like stink !

I 'think' the one on TRF is 'legitimate', he probably bought it from this 'seller' and had the watch checked.

let see how it goes...

Did you read his listing on TRF ? He states it was bought in 2004 for a hiking trip and has been a safe queen ever since. Yet, didn't he in another thread mention he just bought the damn watch off eBay ?

bought in 2004 refers to the 'original seller' in eBay
and that 'original seller' is the seller that offer and send me photo

hmm.. why should I answer for the TRF seller, you should ask him yah?

but I have no idea what you're asking in the above!

Could you explain/re-phrase it for the uneducated amongst us please?

(Thanks).

I have noticed some long time buyers buy high end watches from low feedback sellers and give them a positive feedback, they buy a couple of watches a month. I was just wondering how much they get paid to do shill buying.

The watch in question was listed on eBay by two different sellers. Subsequently bought by a new TRF member that in turn has listed it for sale on TRF just as soon as he reached the required number of posts to be able to list in the for sale section. Kind of makes one wonder doesn't it ?

OK OK OK all of you please see all the photoes from this guys post for this air-king. Look at the 4th picture down and you will see the common fake Rolex hologram sticker. To me this confirms a fake watch and futher more the whole thing stinks anyway. Why would you have this watch not wear it then sell it. Bottom line fake look at the caseback sticker.

With all of the questions how could you even consider buying the watch? Rolex made several Air Kings get one from a seller with a history and references.
