Should I flip
The white dial TOG is really calling towards me more and more, should I flip my Exp2 for it ?
I really love the Exp2 but the white dial TOG is something different. What should be the market price for a used 116264, I don't care about papers or boxes. Service is also not an issue. As long the case, bracelet and bezel are dent free it's OK, they will be restored back to new in a service. Thanks Jack |

Have you tried the TOG on your wrist? Make sure it you are happy while wearing it before you pull the trigger. The EXP II is a great looking watch.

I like the TOG better but that is me... I love the red in it and the gold bezel... just make sure you try one on first since it is a little smaller then the Exp... the price should be in the high 3zz low 4zz

the TOG is a nice watch, for sure, but i could never give up my polar explorer for it....i like the GMT function too much, and the size of the Exp2 is just right for me.
also doesn't help that i'm not a fan of gold on watches, but, since you're considering the trade, that's not an issue for you. i could more readily see a DJ owner switching to a TOG to have a more sporty watch without going all the way to an explorer or sub, but that's just me. |

If you flip your EXP-II, you'll be sorry.
If you save your pennies and buy the TOG, you'll be happy. |

I'd say save for the TOG. At least try one on first and see if you like it as much as you think ;)

I had one a few yrs ago, and the way the light hit the hour batons just didn't look right. Just reminded me of a Seiko 5 dial, so sold it a wk later.
As many have said go see one in the flesh and try it on. I've seen many ploar exp 2's and personally I prefer it over the TOG. |

Why not....as long as you get a reasonable price for your Explorer 2.
Exp 2 are really easy to get so whats the worst that could happen? you have to buy another.... You live once.....i make decisions in a day and don't often regret them! Just go for it :) |

If you need the money...NO don't flip. Save up and keep it. Otherwise every time you see the EXP II you'll be kicking yourself for doing it. Speaking from experience. It feels much better saving for the next one, than flipping to make the purchase. IMHO. Good luck.

Your Exp II already is showing a nice patina on the tritium. You may be sorry about four months after flipping it. The forums are rife with stories of flippers' regret.

Thanks guys
I really like the Exp2 and the discoloration of the markers, the dial is off white too but only noticeble when kept next to a piece of a4 paper.
I think there will come a white TOG in time. It will be on Jubilee Thanks for your opinions Jack |

I wouldn't do that Jack , I believe the EXP2 's movement is way superior .

Buy the Turn-O-Graph, flip the Explorer It would look stunning on a Jubilee, but will of course increase the price you pay for it.
