I use this formula
Tiffany papers= Tiffany money No Tiffany papers=less than or equal to regular dial Years ago it was very common to have this *added* to a dial. There were many dealers who had this added so they could get a little more for there watch. Tiffany has no records and there was many different fonts so I say it is impossible to tell without papers.

This is a fairly frequent question on the forum. I do not know why. Is the hope that if it is asked enough the answer will change?
Without original papers and preferably the Tiffany box, there is NO WAY to document these dials. They are easy to fake and you should not pay a premium without documentation. Mark |

Is there any paperwork included with the watch?
Why is it that Tiffany dialed Rolex's almost never come with original papers...... |

Not crisp
The writing doesn't seem crisp enough.
I'd pay market value for the regular one minus the replacement cost of an original dial. Jack |

Thanks...
I have always felt the same but was hoping that I was wrong. Andrew Shear has one on his site (archive) with a very similar style and close in serial #. It has been my understanding that these were done by hand by Tiffany and these two examples showed many of the same characteristics (the "T" & "N" being two examples) Cheers adam Last edited by whiskyguy; 9 April 2010 at 02:31 PM.. If it doesn't have papers, you could try giving a lowball offer, but you would take a risk.
