100% has the logo on the top of the pen and the Rolex name on the side, the back of the pad has the Rolex number on it and the clasp on the front has the crown. Really cool item, in the United States they are really $$ for it however in Europe it is less $ and still the same item.

I did my homework.

Nice. I've got a few Rolex collectables. I bought some Rolex tennis balls from Australia.

Crackerman, I must say that you're a master of finding the chinese aftermarket items.

Like Jocke said, I hope you didn't pay more than $5 -10 for it?

Leo it is not fake. I am sure of it. I have done my study on it.

The pen is a Parker made in France the ink insert is made in the UK and the Rolex number on the back is 71.06.05

Oh my Crackerman say it isn't so, now you're telling me that your "studies" are based upon a webpage, written by a man that says that an Invicta is a far superior and better value than a Rolex Submariner.

Dude ... seriously John Holbrook the Thurd is one of the biggest douche bags on the Internet in my opinion as opposed to Jocke who knows what he is talking about.

But hey... taking advice as to what is what in the world of Rolex from John Holbrook The Thurd is like taking camera equipment advice from Ken Rockwell... Errrr okay you are funny man!!

I have absolutely no idea whether the items you purchased are authentic, and no basis to judge, but they are different from those pictured in the above link. Chief among the differences in the writing pad is the fact that yours opens along a vertical spine, the pictured version along a horizontal spine. The pens are also quite different, as the one in the link isn't a Parker (though I'm guessing you weren't referring to that).

In this case, since we're not talking about a watch, rather something Rolex commissioned from someone else that really has nothing to do with the watches they make, it's hard to say if something's "real" or not. I also don't see much market for counterfeit items of this nature. FWIW, I also don't see someone using genuine Parker pens to make "fake" Rolex-logo memorabilia.
