It's supposedly a 5512 with a 5 mil serial number, that would put in a 1977 year, but the 5512 wasn't in production then. Now look a the "E" between the links...Are they long E's? The font on the dial appears off as well. Something is not right here, please correct me if I'm wrong.

E's look ok to me... still looking at the rest of the watch.

The "REGISTERED DESIGN" looks off to me on my computer. Could be my aging eyes..

I thought they stopped making the 5512 earlier than 78...I must be confused.

The case is real, The E si correct, the stamping is correct, the dial is for a 5512, I looked at this before, it may have some replaced parts.
