Request for Chip...
Hey Mr. Masterphotoshopper...
Given that you can make non-TT Rolex look so, um, well real, any chance you could do up a black dial ExplorerII with a polished bezel and polished centre links? I've always thought that would dress it up nicely, but I don't have the skills. Cheers |

Polished center links, polished bezel. Give me a few days... I am very very busy at work, but I will see what I can cook up. I have never tried to polish metal in Photoshop. Should be interesting. |

Dude, Chip you are too good pal!!
I am surprised you have not changed Cellini on the polishing cloth to your name though.

Thanks Chip, the bracelet looks good, but I can see JJ's point on the bezel. It's a different colour, but doesn't look polished. But the pic makes the point. I think it looks awesome like that!!! THANKS |

I will work on the bezel.
I did those two in about five minutes last night.
I know that it's not exactly what you are looking for. From a thechnical point of view, I know how to make it look polished. The problem is that will all that writing on the dial, I would have to manually cut out all the numbers, pixel by pixel, create a new layer, apply a chrome filter on the bezel, then on a new layer re-apply all the arabic hour markers by hand back to their original position. It would take me at least 10 minutes per hour marker to extract it, so it would take a few hrs over all. See... Photoshop is not hard to use, but it is very time consuming. If you give me a while, I can try to deliver you a nice polished Explorer. |
