Icon20 SUB or GMTII

Hi guy's
I need help with this one, I was looking at buying a year 2000+ sub but I was waiting for one with a serti dial? now after seeing all the great GMTII on here I'm now starting to change my mind about buying the sub. Now I'm going more towards the GMTII. What do you think I should do?? (no I can't but both )

Well..................Darren, since you already have a serti dial sub, a GMT with all insert options will 3 watches in 1, and since you live in a Rolex owner friendly country where RSC will allow the purchase of said inserts, I'd go with the GMT.

Hi Dan,

The problem with my sub is it does not have the magic word Rolex on it I know I know Tudor is still a great make and the watch looks great, and I maybe a for selling it on here if the GMTII I'm going to look at tomorrow pulls me in.

Tough choice my friend. I don't have the Sub but do have its bigger bro - SD. I love them both.
Go with the one that makes you smile longer.
Happy Hunting!

I have both and so do many TRF members. Try them both out and pick out the one you like better.

I have both the Submariner LV and the GMT Pepsi. Both Z serials. I love them both, but the LV seems to get a lot more looks and compliments.

I'm rather biased I say go for the GMT Pepsi and wait to purchase your Submariner at a later date. I own both a GMT Pepsi and a Sub ND non COSC watch.....

The pepsi wins on looks.
The pepsi wins on utility. (do you really go down 300m every day to work?)
The pepsi wins on being able to HAVE THREE WATCHES AT ONCE (pepsi/coke/black)
The pepsi wins on price.
The pepsi wins on legacy (maybe a 16610 could beat it, but not the serti dial sub)
The pepsi wins on having a slightly smaller profile and sitting on your wrist better
The pepsi WINS!

What are you waiting for?
