Got offered a brand new Stainless Daytona Today

I was at a local distributor today, while I was there I had My watch steam cleaned. The girl behind the counter informed Me that they had a brand new Daytona stainless, and she would sell it to Me today for $9800.00 Is that a deal???

Well, if you're in the market for one and can get it "out the door" for $9800 then it's a pretty good deal.

If you consider that SS Daytonas are selling around 10300 USD at the For Sale section, then 9800 i think it is a deal.

DaytonA

Is her name Tamara? Did you go to mayors at Brandon mall? I was there on saturday try to negotiate milgauss for 10% discount, but her boss said no. At least she tried. She's a fine lady!

I would definitely jump on it. It's only a good deal though if this is the watch you truly want.

I can get 20% off on Milgauss (even GV) or GMT IIC, but not on SS Daytona.

MSRP is $9,925. He is giving you a little bit off. Go for it if you really want it.

Well Paul...I owe you a big Thank You...I have been on the list at my local AD and as of late feel like I was getting the run around. After I saw this post I got right of the phone and this is the watch that I now own. Terry Smith and Tamara were a pleasure to do business with. Thanks TRF! for the heads up.

If it's the watch you want, go for it. But the days when you could flip it for big money are over.

No, It's not true. I bought my GMT IIc and white daytona at 10% discount. I bought both of them in Sarasota (Armel Jewelry). Mayors is a difficult company when ot comes to discount. I just bought Panerai 312 from Avant Gold in Tampa for 30% off, while in Mayors Orlando, they didn't give me any penny off! They walked away from me when I asked for a discount.

It a very good deal ONLY if you're looking to buy one and not to flip it and also make sure it's a V and not and Z or M...
