In need of a change... Recommendations!

Well...

I'm thinking of letting go of some of my 14 watches. The ones who dont see the sunlight no more. I'm in the need of a new watch. I miss my DJ terribly. The one's that are staying are: The Mido, Tissot, Seikos, Invicta, Sandoz, Omegas, and the Benrus. The others are leaving... The Citizen Aluminum, Bulova, Casios, Swatch, and Nautica... I really want something new... but it has to be Swiss...

Any Recommendations?

Gaby

My first proper swiss watch was an Omega seamaster quartz mid-size, i got it when i was in highschool, its the best bang for the buck, looks timeless and is a SOLID watch, that i still wear from time to time even today.

I have a Seamaster, love it. Or look for a Speedmaster. Another classic that should form part of every WIS' collection

Make that another vote for an Omega Seamaster.
Perhaps a little more pricey than what you'd want to get, but save for a little longer, and it WILL be worth the wait, TRUST me !!

Look at vintage Gaby. 12 to 16 hundred. consolidate that collection of yours and upgrade and get yourself a vintage DJ.

Not sure of your budget Gaby but Hamilton makes some nice watches. They're reasonably priced too

Any seamaster or speedmaster if budget permits. If not, how about a longines hydroconquest or maybe an oris

Have a look at Orient Mako. It is non-Swiss but I love it. It is like a tank and very much tool watch with day and date.

How about a Lum-Tec? Here are my three M series L-T watches. These are quartz, but some of the M series watches are automatics. Cheers, Bill P.
