finally got my wife a new Rolex!

well i just got back from my honeymoon in Hawaii and did some shopping while there since the dollar was soo good :p

first up since this is a Rolex forum i thought id show my wifes newbie.
she has been wearing my submariner for a while and thought id get her something new since i wanted the sub back

we went into all 4 stores which stock Rolex at Oahu (both ben bridges, rolex boutique and of course honolulu time) and the one Rolex dealer in Maui (Baron & leeds) and got her to try on every single full sized datejust they had excluding the two tones.
she immediately fell inlove with the white gold fluted bezel and sunbeam roman dial.
we bought this from Baron & leeds in Maui

since the wife got a new watch i thought id upgrade too and picked up a brand new Audemars Piguet 15300

i love the display back. 22k gold rotor

and our wrist shots while in Maui. she has a hairier arm than me

hope you enjoyed the pics!

I'm sure the AP cost you more, but sorry to break the news--- the DJ looks better! Only teasing, both gorgeous! Very very nice but I just love her DJ.

Love the DJ dial....really stunning....I am not normally all that attracted by watches other than Rolex and Tudor, I can appreciate them but they don't normally rock my boat, however I work with a guy that wears the exact same AP, your photo's are really great but I don't think any photo can do that model justice, in the flesh it is so brilliant....just so simple and clean......really beautiful......congrats
