Hi everyone, again, cannot say enough thanks to the group for your help. I am about to get a DJ and am torn between the 2 tone and the SS.

Any strong opinions on which is better. Both same year, style, dial (white or champagne face, roman numerals), jubilee band.

I literally cannot decide. Any considerations I should take into account (eg maybe one holds value better than the other? maybe the 2 tone band stretches much worse? I don't know, I'm a Rolex rookie and learning!).

Hi and welcome to TRF.

The BIG question is do you like TT watches? If so, then go with the TT Super Jubilee on a DJ with a YG fluted bezel, white dial and gold enameled Romans.

If not, then go with the SS DJ with SS bracelet and WG fluted bezel.

Have to agree with JJ but if you want very traditional the tt with white stick dial would be the way to go.

the champagne face with roman is awesome that is what my DJ is but its on an oyster band i'm not a Jubilee fan

Hi SRS144:
I´m not very fond of Jubilee bands, and as a matter of fact, the only watch so equipped is this DJ which I inherited from my Dad, all my other Rolex got the Oyster type.
Anyway, I must confess that a watch so equipped is very comfortable to wear, as the Jub bracelet is more flexible than the Oyster, and seems to follow better the wrist contour. Also scratches seem to be less evident in this bracelet.

Curiously enough, my Dad´s DJ with a champagne dial and flutted gold bezel, came with an all steel Jubilee, not a TT one. This makes for a less flashy overall look of the watch, which I like best.

Hope you like this one and helps in your decision!

TT will be more flexible when matching with other jewelry, etc.
