I will have a rolex no date sub in Feb. 2011. (Because that's when my wife said so)
GOOD NEWS! My wife says that we can spend the 2010 tax return on a NEW ROLEX NO DATE SUB. for me!!!
This years tax return was spent on a vacation that she wanted. It's kinda a drag waiting for 8 months for the watch. I was hoping to convince her to let me get it sooner, but it didn't happen. Hope you guys will me hang out here till feb. 2011 even tho I won't have a rolex till then. |

Are you in the market for a COSC or a non-COSC? There are plenty of non-COSCs still out there, new, though the pickings will no doubt get slimmer by 2011.

Will be well worth the wait....and who knows what may come up as choices in the meantime if you hang round here.....!
My advice would be to keep a close eye on the for sale section here and our trusted sellers....then when the time gets close you can nab a brilliant deal... Enjoy!

I love your choice and hope the day comes to you 'soon' in your head!
I just bought the watch yesterday in London! Saved a lot on it considering the Sterling is weak and that I'll also get a VAT refund when I go back home. But I dont have the watch yet ... put an advance on it yesterday and will collect tomorrow morning. I actually postponed my Scotland train tickets so as to be able to collect the watch!!! I was going absolutely loco wondering what Rolex to buy (when I saw the watches back home at the AD the non date was my fave). Then I read about the new ceremic dials and the SEL and the new clasp and then I got so confused ... (and then Jaeger and the Omega PO entered the fray) (heck I had this huge sheet made with virtues and demerits of all the watches). So yesterday I walked into the Bond st AD and they had it and it was still lovely and I gave him all the money I had and they are holding it for me! |

Great news. That's next on my list as well.
But be forewarned, if you hang out here for the next 8 months, your 2010/ tax return won't be enough for all the watches you'l decide you need between now and next February. |

See if your AD has two years same as cash????You can get it now and pay it off with your return. If you hang out here you are gonna catch the bug.

Tell her you are going to buy the Rolex ND Sub NOW, and she can just take the tax return when it comes in.
No waiting for the Sub and everyone is happy. |

Great choice on the 14060M. Maybe they will have the (no date ceramic) model out by then.

here is some ammo to help pull the trigger sooner, taxes is 8-10 months away that is at least 1 possibly to rolex price increases, so find a 0% card or AD and get it now prob the only thing i haven't had buyers remorse on is my watches, I am just upset that I can only get what i can afford

Congrats on your decision on the Sub!
I am wondering why you are expecting a decent sized tax refund, you would be better off increasing your deductions so you pay less taxes upfront. No reason to give the gov't your money upfront- they are making interest on it until they return it to you. Just something to consider, plus you could get your watch sooner! |
