Question about PAM 183
Hi Guys,
First time post here. I'm interested in getting a second hand PAM 183 black seal as my first panerai. What do you guys think about this watch? What do you think is a reasonable price for this watch?? Thanks for your input! Erry |

It's a great watch; however, I prefer the Luminor if it's going to be your only PAM. IMHO.

i thought about the 183 before i got my 111. i ended up with the 111 because:
(1) the wired lugs vs luminor's conventional lugs. i like the luminor's lugs better for (potentially) beeing stronger and easier to do strap change , (2) i like the crown lever better cause you do have to manual wind the watch every other day and the lever is easier to operate than screw down crown i might think about a rad case later on to mix it up, but its gonna be a 190 (or the other one with the 8-day GMT manual wind with date) i still think 183 is a great PAM, with the sandwich dial, display back, simple and reliable movement yet customized and decorated. but that's just me. :-) its a great looking watch, you should get it if you like it. well, if one day i must have a rad and the bank account is not cooperatiing, then 183 will be my top choice, haha |

Well..its all personal style if you like the Rad case or Lum case..
Rads tend to be a bit more dressy but with the right strap..it goes with jeans and shorts... my first was a Lum and now I am itching for a Rad...

The G would be more. If you don't care about collectability, get whatever you want. You a collector or a just a watch wearer/lover?
