The TT sub is a classic and can be used as a dress/casual watch. I'd go with the sub. But, to each its own. Good luck!

I like the Sub TT personally. But the important question is: which one do you like more?

Go try them both on if you haven't already done so. Then, maybe go back and do it again a week later. Spend some time with both. One or the other will sing to you.

I like both, but the DJ would be my choice. Tough call.

I recently went with the TT Black Sub, but that's because I don't really like watches (other than the Milgauss) without shoulders around the crown. Also, I love the Glidelock's versatility.

Which looks better to you?

Remember that this forum skews heavily toward Submariners.

That first watch is a particularly striking and elegant variation of the Datejust design, whereas the TT Submariner just reminds me of how much more I'd like it if it were the original all-stainless version.

Of the two, I prefer the DJII.

OK,

Let me help you out here, a two tone sub is not a good way to go!! Stainless steel sub looks a million times better, also, yellow gold is way out of fashion, and looks bad. Trust me, this 2 tone subs screams 1980's!! The date Just looks so much better and is way more classy!!! Stay away from yellow gold. Trust and believe !!!

Impossible choice, sorry. What other watches are in your collection? Have you worn TT before?

Enjoy the "problem", it's a lucky one to have!

I am biased. I just tried it on.
DJII all the way.
The specific DJII is so beatifull that I don't have words to describe it.
Look at my signature to understand what kind of watches I like. This watch I just must have it.
When you buy it post a lot of pics.
Congratulations in advance
