Movado (still a fan)
Just throwing this out there. I have several Movados that I still
enjoy, quartz and autos. They are nothing like my others Rolex, Breitling, Omega...that much I know. BUT I still have love for the others. I know all that matters is my enjoyment of each watch...BUT......what do you guys think ??? Be gentle.. |

Sorry, but they haven't made a serious watch in about forty years.

My father had a Movado (don't know the name/model, but the one with the gold dot @ 12, plain black face with a leather strap).
It was an OK watch. I know a LOT of people that have one and just use them as everyday beaters. I've never owned a Movado watch, don't care for the designs personally, but have not heard anything BAD about them eather. Not for me IMO. |

If you like them, don't worry about what others think. I have G-Shocks that I love too. There's a whole world of different watches out there with something to satisfy everyone. Go for it!

Here's my vintage rose gold shell turtle lug moonphase. I also have a new old stock automatic chronometer, in an unusual small size-blued screws, swans neck regulator, fully adjusted, breguet overcoil, and in a water resistant case.
