What's up TRF!!!!!.....it's been a while I know, but just as an FYI I wanted to let you know it was just released as an app today. I'm downloading it now and I'll let you know how it is.

4g as in mobile phone 4th generation or 4th generation iPad (you will have to wait for a while for this me thinks.....)?

Not sure what hardware upgrade it will be for the next generation iPad, but if you get the wifi-3G version now and change the micro sim card when 4th generation mobile phone is up and running in your area, it will be running on 4G network, and im sure by then there will be a new iPad OS for it... :-)

The 4g iPad should be out by the end of this year. I can wait...maybe.

Good idea though if I end up buying it now, changing out the 3g sim to 4g.

hmmm...

i totally understand where you are coming from - always though you can "hold off" abit longer for the next gen device.

both my wife and i have finally hit the Apple bug, so we are moving over to the "dark side". im hoping the iPad 32G wifi + 3G will arrive next week - couldnt believe they were out of stock

not sure if Apple will upgrade the processor in the iPad for the next gen, otherwise, it should make no difference if there is a new software upgrade + 4G mobile network

What's up guys and gals.....I have to say initially, it is one of the better "magazine" apps avaialble. Unlike the new Sports Illustrated app, it offers a lot more content designed for the ipad. Quick links to brand webpages are common with other magazine apps, but there is also hidden "additional" content AND there is actual HD video of movements and HD photos to boot. The best one so far is a video on the Jaeger-LeCoultre Hybris Mechanica minute repeater that I couldn't find on their website......REALLY COOL and in HD 3D. I'll try to upload the video later today.....

Not sure about a hardware upgrade....latest news/rumor from apple is a CDMA iPhone in production and due out possibly @ Christmas time from Verizon.

It only showed the preview of the mag, and there is no purchase option?

I found that initially, once I had flicked through all the "Free view" pages, about 20 or so, a panel came up offering the option to purchase, must admit, as already stated above, it is one of the better magazine options on the ipad.

Here's a screen shot from my ipad.
