Rolex Debortuary

Just when you think is cannot get any worse and then you see this "steampunk art"
I know Jocke does not have this rare DateJust.

And they call this art.

You gotta think that dial was really damaged if a $50 pendant is the most money that could have been made from it.

Personally, not my taste, but hey it's recycling!

A fine example of "folk art", the "Timex" version of this piece sells for much less!

That looks like what you would get by trying to pull the pile of jewlery out of your grandmothers jewlery box.

I don't think the dial is right, "Oyster Perpetual", and "Day-Date" are not centered with the "L" in ROLEX.

I kind of like it. I wouldn't describe it as "steampunk" though. It's more Russian-Avant-Garde-meets-Hieronymus-Bosch.

Actually, the first thing I thought of when I saw it was that infamous, weird racist Nazi propaganda poster:

This group obviously has no appreciation for "Folk Art". The piece is telling the tender story of a young lady who is pictured within the date ring. I would decode this loving story if those viewing show more appreciation and respect to the artist, and most importantly for the womans' life that this fine artwork depicts!!
