Anybody notice how some of the newer PVD's and SE the prices are just dropping?
The 2 PVD SE 26K and 28L these prices are dropping and as well some of the PVD B's as well but others are still holding their prices. I don't think the prices can hold up much more with the pressure of the terrible economies of Europe and the US. One of the reasons for the time I will still buy only the more classics as the new models just don't hold their value as they once did.
Here is a 26K for a cheap price, under 9k USD. http://www.network54.com/Forum/61171...DanielSzeto%29 It is just not the newer PVD's, even the Pam 127's prices are falling, I saw one priced at less than 12k USD today. |

Robert..been following these piece..and its pretty crazy..
though the Fiddy at 12kUSD is a bit scary...not sure how legit and the 292 has been hovering around high $6K/low $7Kusd its weird...guess its all supply and demand... the other day at the BHB..Chad offered a 28L BNIB to me (I have never done a deal with the BHB).. I am in agreement with you about the classics..I am locked into a 190

The "risk" IMHO of buying an expensive Panerai is that in the next year or so, they'll make a model that people want more. Who knows? Wish the ones I wanted would drop in price to my level! :(

The slowing of the economy is very bad. I have been tracking vintage rolexes prices they also suffer a great loss. Some big items which hardly surfaced before the crisis are popping out. I can feel the pain of the owners who have to let go their collection. But it is good time for collecting now.
