See Through Sapphire Back
I think I have it down to a 005 and 111 for my first PAM. I guess my question is does anyone make a clear back for PAM's? Would I be able to get one and put it on a 005 or should I just be ok with a 111? I really like the Dial on the 005 better but the clear caseback is also a big point for me. Thanks

Well a 111's caseback would probably fit the 005, but then the numbers would be wrong (serial, millesimation). Not sure if aftermarket casebacks are available. Personally I prefer the 111 because of the sandwich dial and slightly cleaner look without the logo.
Cheers

get the face you like more. You rarely look at the caseback.
Do you like the paint and logo Or Sammy and no logo? |

you can get the pre-H series 111, that's with painted dial (no logo though) and see through caseback.
besides the caseback, 111 also has more declorated movement and swan neck regulator. so it does have a "better view" so to speak ;-) and yes, i sometimes stare at the back of my 111 as well ... LOL |

I like the sandwich dial, but the design with the OP logo, wish I could have both, I am headed to the AD here this weekend and will see what he has, I know he just got a 111 in stock. Thanks for your help guys.
Is there a specific butterfly clap that I would need if I wanted to switch it over to that, as in size? I think I would like one of those better than the regular clasp.

the deployant clasps is 22m. and you need specific straps for them. so the straps for deployant clasps and buckle can not be interchanged

Interesting, I thought you could just place it in one of the normal straps, thanks for the info on that!

Both watches are great, but my personal preference is 111 over the 005 as I also really like clear casebacks. Good luck don't think you can make a bad decision over either one.
