so.. one has to ask - is the new Sub-C bezel interchangeable...

with the now "past generation" non-ceramic Subs?

now that the Sub-Cs are slowing coming out on the market and a few members are already wearing it proudly on their wrist.

im sure some people would be interested to know and will want to do that if it is possible. i have never been a fan of changing bezel insert, except on the GMTIIs

what do you think?

ps - does anyone know if we will see the new ND Sub-C at Basel 2011? i would def. be interested in that

I'm sure one day Rolex will offer the feature of interchanging ceramic bezels especially if/when the GMT's come out with either Pepsi/Coke bezels, but I'm sure its gonna be $$$.

I was under the impression that Rolex has discontinued the SubND's.

Totally different the ceramic bezel runs on ball bearings and machined different to the 16610.And would have thought if it was possible would cost in excess of a $1000. A high price to pay for a slice of ceramic, for something that functions the same as the old insert. And the non date sub is still in production perhaps it will be changed Basel
2011.

My GUESS would be that you could swop the 'whole bezel' (ie: not just the insert) from a ceramic LN sub & a ceramic LV (LO?) but I'm just guessing...

Obviously you will be able to use the green and blue ceramic bezels of the 116610LV and 116619 models on a 116610LN

However, the bezel of the older 16610 works differently so I guess not

I asked my dealer if I can use a 16710 pepsi bezel on a 116710 and the answer was negative

The aluminum bezels are tension fit, so I don't believe the ceramics would work much like the 16710 vs II-c.
