Oscar sent me a package, my dream is here!!!

I have been trading pieces for a while now to get to my dream watches, and I have finally acquired one of my dream pieces, the other being the GMT IIc, which I am very close to. This morning I got the package from Oscar, and it was sealed tight and snug. I tore through it like a madman, and immediately put my new baby on NATO. I have owned a Explorer I and II, Submariner Date and LV, Daytona, and this is BY FAR THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ROLEX I HAVE EVER WORN...... EVER. Presenting (through my iPhone camera):

A few comments after a few hours of owning the watch. I LOVE that the crown is in white gold instead of painted on. I LOVE the green crystal, and even though it's green, it's so subtle. The watch is hefty and feels substantial, but the NATO makes the weight PERFECT. As you all probably know, the 3, 6, 9 markers have blue lume, and it's harder to charge the blue lume than typical green lume. If I put it under a lamp, the green charges after a few seconds while it takes a while to get the blue blasting. To all GV owners out there, think about possibly getting a NATO strap, especially a black one. Forget the orange second hand and the green crystal because the NATO meshes with the BLACK DIAL. I LOVE this watch, it is the most aesthetically pleasing Rolex... in my opinion. Cheers.

The Milgauss has definitely grown on me!

It even almost looks great on a NATO.

Almost.

Congratulations. With so many TRFers NOT liking the GV, it sure is nice to see someone who is as enthused about his GV as I am...btw, i have mine on brown leather right now and like it a lot...I was in a Breitling AD the other day, talking to a very knowledgeable salesperson. She commented that my GV probably felt perfect without the heavy bracelet. I agreed. The NATO should be very comfortable as well.

Hey congrats - it looks great on the nato but I'm such a huge fan of the oyster bracelet that I feel saddened to see it sitting on your desk like that lol

Thanks so much Robert. The Daytona did not sing to me; but hey, at least you and I are both in the Millie club now.
