Why when I watch the TV ......
Whenever I watch an american food program the chefs or presenters always wear Rolex Submariners. 16610' & Lv's
I just keep seeing them, obviously a big status symbl in the U.S Don't seem to see many on u.k TV shows. |

I have only seen Ramsey wearing a SS/Pt YM in one of the weekend magazines once. Other than that he wears Briteling watches.

The only reason you notice is because you are a WIS type, most people would not even notice or know what brand of watch they were wearing.Rolex watches today and there must be quite a few Million in this world today would hardly call them a status symbol, a expencive watch yes.And if you are in to that sort of thing many chefs and TV presenters wear Rolex on UK TV, just like the normal every day guy in the street.

It's funny you mention this, cause I remember seeing Matt lauer of the today show and Rocco in a cooking session both wearing subs. And the wife has noticed David beckham's dssd of course!
