to date, which I'm very happy to note also after about a month of ownership, I've only had one, yes, a single comment from another person who happen to notice my piece.

this is after wearing it out in public daily, an no less than 10 hours per day.

the single comment was "wow, that's a very impressive and good looking watch you have on there!"

I thanked him and just moved right along.

like I shared, just the way I prefer it.

below the radar and incognito like, in spite of her significant height, weight, bulk and overall profile.

yes, pretty amazing actually.

makes me even more happy in fact!

An engineer friend of mine, examined the DS closely, after which he noticed the depth rating and said:

"12,800 feet??? That's insane!"

It happened to me as well and on numerous occasions.
They are left spechless and are hypnotized by the watch.
I never say a word when it happens, the watch speaks for me...

That's quality talking my friend ... the watch exhibits quality, which is what draws them in ... and you exhibit quality, by staying silent .... Excellent!!!

Get some looks occasionally, but only a couple of coments. "Is that a real Rolex?" I usually reply " No, but it's a pretty good copy, don't you think?"

He was dissapointes in his Breitling from that point forward.

.....

You should have said "not trying to rub it in, but 12,800ft to be exact and it was tested at below 16,000ft to ensure it is all good!!!!"

let's face it, no one really cares.

a few close friends inspected it as they are fellow WIS's but people in general don't pay attention to what watch you are wearing.

I think people do pay attention and tons of it .... at close proximity, your watch is as effective as your bad breath .... it is one thing that most choose to stay silent and do not have the knowledge but believe me, the people are judging every square inch of you the moment they see you .... and you the same ....it is human nature....you are judged on your looks, on your weight, on your height, on your clothes, on the way you talk and many otherrs and on your watch....

A WIS at work noticed it and my step-brother said "nice watch" but I don't think he knows what it is.

I have had four or five people that know watches comment that the Deepsea was awesome, and asked if I always wear it to work. I tell people that I wear it everyday......

Once an acquaintance looked at it and said "Ah, I see the Rolex...classic." Yesterday I ran into an old friend and as he was up against my truck chatting I caught him just gazing at it every once n a while. He didn't comment on it though.
