16610 Bezel Insert
Hi guys,
Hope one of you experts out there can share some knowledge with me :) I spoke to an AD here in Norway yesterday, and amongst other things I asked if he could send me an Original Bezel insert for the Sub. Not that I have a Sub..yet..but thought why not..for a rainy day :) Anyway..i received it today, and it seems to me as the code is for a Seadweller (16660), but do they use the same? The package is sealed so i didn't want to break it. Is it the same for both 16610 and 16660?

I better give those guys a call tomorrow and check it up then. Appreciate the quick answer Jib. To put it like this..like many other things here in Norway, these things don't come for free either..hehehe

Cheers, I just spoke to them again now, and they confirmed it was the wrong one. The correct one apparently says 16800 instead of 16660, and that makes more sense i guess.
They actually confirmed that the new SUBc's are arriving in Norway end of this week, which is not too bad actually, before the UK even :)

Cheers Panos, highly appreciated. I don't think the new one I'm getting comes with the chip packaging either actually.

Hi Graham,
Well, I still have the one that was sent to me, that was meant for the Seadweller as far as I can see. You see it further up on the page. If you confirm that this is the correct product for you, then maybe we can do a deal?

2) original - yes. subs had varying fonts depending on era. also, the pearl fade is usually consistent with the dial indices' patina. authentic - yes. SFO RSC showed me a fake insert that simply popped off my bezel. Far less tension than the authentic one. 3) No. Very different hardware. Hope this helps.

Nope. Just asked Giovanni how he could tell a fake. He showed me one with really good fonts, but when installed it really didn't take much to pop it off the bezel.

Yup!
And then they let me walk out with my old one as well. SFO RSC is the best!

DO you think that the RSC in NY would do the same? I have never been to an RSC
but can you walk in and drop off your watch for service in person?
