My AD called just got hulk green sub in, should I rush over?

I see mixed views on thus watch
I like it but is it with full retail 9% tax?
Or better to speculate and wait a few months and get 10%
off is sales are slow?
How are these selling? In & out same day elsewhere?

It all depends if you like it or not and how much you want to pay for it.

Yea, go have a look at it. Try it on..feel how it sits on the wrist. Then how the bracelet and glidelock feels..and how the ceramic bezel ever so slightly changes color in the sun. Maybe you'll even enjoy looking at that green gold dial and how it stands out from many other watches.

You dont have to buy it of course..just go have a look I mean..hehe

Hi Dan,

I wouldn't rush into this one too soon. First thing you do is try it on and see if you REALLY, REALLY LOVE it!!

Then ask your AD if he has some kind of positive confirmation if that dial is 18K green gold.................and then make your move.

Good luck - JJ

JJ, I thought we have come to the conclusion that the "Hulk's" dial is in fact not solid 18k "green gold" but plated like a gold dial. I got my information from two respected AD's in NYC (Tourneau & Wempe). To the OP as the other legends here have stated I would go and try it on for size. Gold or not the new subs are georgeous!

I agree it's worth going over to see it in person to make a decision if it's worth it to you.

Ya I will try it out and see. I'm getting
The impression there aren't "waiting

I think that once people buy them, wear them, realize that the truly are not all that pretty (IMO) they will be sold at a reduced price on places like eBay. I can't see why for the life of me someone would prefer the new Sub over the old 16610.. This is only my personal opinion.

Have you actually handled the new 116610? It's amazing. The smoothness of the bezel spin, to the beauty of the clasp, it's a wonderful improvement over the (still) great 16610. Take a look sometime, you might like it.

My guess is that many of the people that swear the older 16610 is perfect will, in fact, have a new Sub-C within a few years... time will tell.

No, maybe I should, maybe I would change my mind.

But...from the pictures, I really do not like it at all.
