I knew you'd vote for the DJ, Brandon!
IMHO, if it were the DJ vs Milgauss, instead of the DJ2, the results would be far in favor of the DJ.

I know that when you are passionate about a purchase, like a new Rolex, decisions are hard to make. Could you buy one now and then the other one later on???

To be honest, I'm really considering deactivating my account here ...I've been buying and flipping watches like crazy in the past 8 months. Everytime I open threads, I become excited. I do hope to keep my GMTIIc at least for a year this time around...

Oh really? Since my smallest watch is at 40mm and got used to something bigger, I lost interest in smaller sized watches. And afraid wife will use it and putting back the links she removed would be a hassle...lol

I don't own either of these watches, but am lusting after the black dialed DJ II myself. Tried one on at the AD, and really like it.

Milgauss for sure.
I don't like the small crown on the DJ, and I don't care for the cyclops, so it's an obvious choice on the Milgauss. Plus, with the Milgauss, you get the 3131 movement and the history behind the watch. It's also a very versatile watch that works well on straps and NATO in addition to the oyster: |

Must say that DJ2 has a few design mistakes, as The Black Milgauss is so nice, goodlooking, perfect size, and the most comfortable watch I ever owned. Unfortunately I sold my one, but I will definitely buy one later.
Go with Milgauss. |

I looked at the Milgauss when I bought my DJII and I just didn't think I would still want a watch with orange details 5 years from now. DJII will still look classic 30 years from now IMO.

Since the Date Just has the dreaded cyclops, I vote for Milgauss. This thread has me relooking at the Milgauss to be my 2nd Rolex in my collection.

I would go for the Mil, in fact I did own one for a few years.
I just don't care for DJ's. |

I'm not a DJ fan either.
I'm a big Milgauss fan, especially the Green crystal. I voted for the DJ though, because the less people who have a Milgauss the better off for me! |

Milgauss
I just can't seem to get into the DJ or DD II's, prefer the classics. I'd go for the Milgauss between the two.
