Hi Folks, Trying to improve my understanding of GMT before I purchase one.

The criteria for my choice in the Pepsi is lug holes, SEL and possibly Jubilee.
So far I "think" I have identified the following:

Series, Lug Holes, SEL, Pepsi offered
-----------------------------------------
- U , Yes, ? , ?

- A , Yes, ? , ?

- P , Yes, ? , ?

- K , Yes , Yes , ?

- Y , ? , ? , ?

- F , No , ? , ?

Can anyone help?

I think I have wore out my welcome with Steve M and Dan P, my emails are probably going into "junk mail"...

For P model (16710), it is - P , Yes, Yes , Yes. It is my understanding however, not all P came with SEL--I am sure others can confirm. Bes of luck.

From what I have been able to learn on my hunt, the late-ish P, all the K, and the early-ish Y serials all satisfy all your requirements.

Not sure about your heading..

The last GMT Master was made in about 1999, and so - all GMT's have lug holes and none have SEL's, although you could put one on.

So, your question can only pertain to GMT II's.........

Well, I have a couple of P's with both, and a Y with both... but they are all GMT II's, and not GMT's...

I guess I need to be looking at both 16700 and 16710 then.

If you want both SEL's and lug holes you'll need to find a GMT II, P, K, or Y series which run from about 2000 to 2003. Correct me if I'm wrong, Larry.

The GMT II will also give you the jump hour feature that allows 2 simultaneous timezones without rotating the bezel.
