Hello!!
My recently found rose gold Bubbleback, vintage c.1940 (ref 3131)
I guess will be wearing it for several more days before changing mount!
I love its nostalgic look.
Kind regards, Abel

Wow that looks different and timeless ...
Unusual end links and centre polished links.

Hello CKLinLA!! Thank you!
Great watch you got. Vintage + great patina on markers and hands make an awesome combination! Enjoy your nice Explorer!

Regarding end links, let me say that first Oyster bracelets like this one, lacked the end link we find in later models, covering the gap between lugs.
I do not remember exactly when this feature was offered for forst time, but I guess it was in the late 40´s or early 50´s.

Thank you again!
Very cordially, Abel.
