New Sub- steel ceramic bezel in platinum? WG? Steel?

I was reading on the Rolex website about the sub- steel ceramic bezel there was something about the bezel being covered in platinum where the numbers show...
so is the whole bezel in platinum? hence the shine?
i had heard from the AD that its white gold? so its confusing!

decided to forget about the TT in blue and go for the new steel in green or black they arrive next week to my AD and will choose then!

was thinking all or nothing! so when i want later i can trade it for an all gold whether sub in white or gold or one of my favourites the GMT II in gold with the green dial!

the bezel is a ceramic disc with platinum numbers, or ceramic and gold if your looking at a tt model

so the shiny bits "under" the numbers that "sit" on the steel case and reflect the light are steel or platinum or gold? (on the steel model we're talking)!

all the numbers on my Steel GMT are Platinum, its the same for the Sub

if you are talking about the actual bezel its-self (i.e. the bit the holds the ceramic and Platinum insert) its Steel

The bezel is not white gold, nor is it platinum. It is a steel bezel with a ceramic insert. Where the numbers are milled into the ceramic insert, Rolex applies a very small amount of platinum in the form of some sort of vapor disbursement - you could say, for lack of a better way to describe it, that the numbers are "painted" in with a very thin layer of platinum material. Clear about the numbers on the bezel!
I was just thinking if the graduations were in WG or Platinum since they have a great shine! Is this the case for example on the YM plat/steel?

It's a little bit different there, as the entire bezel insert is made out of Platinum, as is the dial. But yes, platinum and steel compliment each other very nicely

I don't know what you mean by "a great shine", but the bezel of the new Sub C is steel. I don't see it has a great shine at all, the same as the old Sub.
