It is safe to assume no one can zero in on the born date unfortunately.
You can get to the Approximate Year at best.

That is correct......... You cannot get a "born" date no matter who you talk to.

The only "date" that you can ever verify is the original sales date and that is only if you have the original receipt.....

It is also possible to check the numbers on the bracelet, if it is the same that came with the watch, for the bracelet's month and year of production. This third number can help somehow in narrowing the window of time. Tools' answer is perhaps the closest if you want a day and a month, although I have a P series watch (c. 2001) with sale receipt in 2004. Best regards

Try this: Without the receipt, its about as close as you can get. Check the clasp code and SN charts.

The safest place for your watch is on your wrist.

Thanks,

I bought a new 16610 last week that is an "M" serial number. From some of the comments on this site it appears the watch could have been built in 2010. I was hoping to find a randum serial number and forgot to inquire about the serial number when I made my purchase. However, I still would have bought the watch.
