Thanks! And to all caring members, please help me on this.

I am intending to buy a vintage Rolex watch. Its an oyster perpetual datejust 18k white gold fluted bezel/ stainless steel roman numerals. I saw the watch myself and its so pristinely beautiful despite its age which accordingly was made in the late 60's. The Serial Number is 2090365 and caliber 1570. He is selling it to me for around $3000. He said that he recently had the watch serviced in a reputable Rolex center. Please see the pics he said he took while the watch was being cleaned at: http://img269.imageshack.us/g/rr1r.jpg/

Please give me your comments if this is a genunie Rolex watch. If so, is the price being asked reasonable?

Welcome to TRF, kabayan!

The watch looks very nice.

The asking price seems a bit steep IMHO, but I'm not familiar with local watch prices.

Good luck, bro.
