Icon10 SOOOOO worth the wait!!!!

At last.....

Spuds' Sub-c has landed!!

For those of you that don't know already, I was considering awaiting a c-LV but soon as I had the c-LN on my wrist I just knew there was no reason to wait any longer.

I'd also been concerned that the c-Sub & the GMTIIc were too similar, but the absence of PCL's (& the quite noticably IMO) squarer case of the Sub' set my mind at rest.

Hell.....
Even the wife can tell 'em apart & trust me that's saying something!!

So without further ado.....

Here's a coupla quick wrist shots & photo's of my boys, Billy with 'his' 116610 c-Sub' & Jack with 'his' 116710 GMT-c.

I've also taken a pic' of the boxes simply 'cos I was surprised to see that the Sub' came in a much bigger box, & there's a pic' of the Cartier cleaning kit my AD gave me FOC too 'cos I happened to mention a coupla water stains I had on my GMTIIc which are still there from the pool a coupla weeks back.

I'm one happy bunny though & soon as I've caught up on here I'm even gonna take the stickers off!!

Incidentally I've actually shied away from wearing my GMTIIc on a couple of occasions simply because the PCL's were perhaps a bit too 'bling' for the occasion (ie: a job interview & a funeral), so I'm particularly happy that the brushed bracelet & 'quieter bezel' of the Sub's a tad more discreet.....
However much I love that green gold dial (& I do love that dial! ) I'm just not convinced that the LV would be quite so suitable under similar circumstances??

But anyway.......

here's the pic's Gent's................

Thankyou for the posts everyone......

The whole "Hammers" thing started when he was a baby 'cos I bought him the strip just to annoy his "Gooner" Uncles!!

& Raf' mate don't worry.....
They know where you live and just how to claim their inheritance when the time's right!!

(Billy was peering over my shoulder the other day when I was perusing the GTG pic's & he said "If that guy was your Dad at least we'd know where you got your dreadful taste in shirts from!" )

Fantastic Dan, it's great to see you get that beauty at last! Plus it looks like you've managed to snaffle a TT-size box too - can't be bad :D Enjoy wearing it

Thanks Chris!!

Is it actually the wrong box though mate??

I did query it with the AD & he said he thought (perhaps assumed?) that all c-Sub's were coming in the bigger box.....??

Well, knowing Rolex, there's always something to be confused The Sub we received came in the small box, which comes with all steel models bar the DSSD. It might be a case that somewhere the boxes got mixed up - check with the AD if they have made a mistake, but if they're not bothered, enjoy the big box
