1665 dial

Greetings to all:

I know this is a neophite question, but i was wondering if you gentlemen could help me out.

How do I identify a service dial v. an original tritium one on a 1665?

I guess more specifically, how do I distinguish luminova from tritium?

Any input you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ted

Usually the Luminova dials just say "SWISS" at the bottom verse the Tritium dials that say: "T SWISS T <25"

Shine a bright light on the dial for a minute, then take it into the closet..

The Luminova will glow brightly for quite some time while the Tritium may get a momentary glow, but will remain dark..........

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
