3rd Rolex Decision

Hello All, I currently own an SS GMTII C and a Sub 16610, both purchased over the last 3 months. I am looking to purchase a third Rolex before the prices rise in the US approximately 1 week from now. I want this third watch to compliment the existing two that I have and make for an interesting trio. While I may purchase the new SS Sub C, when my name came to the top of the list recently, I declined, feeling underwhelmed about the Sub C within the context of what I already have. After looking fairly diligently this past week, I am interested in the following:

TT Sub C. Although not providing much difference to what I already have, the two tone aspect is physically somewhat different and both blue and black look great with the contrasting gold. Can get a 15% discount from my AD.
TT Daytona. I looked at the TT Daytona in white, black and steel dials and I like the steel dial a lot. This watch would certainly be a good compliment to the two already owned, but the Daytona is more refined and has somewhat less wrist presence in my opinion, but still definitely a winner. Can get a 15% discount from my AD.
WG Sub C. Fantastic, beautiful, heavy wrist presence, number one choice but obscenely expensive. List of $29 and change, can get it for around $25 from my AD, approximately a 16.333% discount. I love the watch but would almost be embarrased with the purchase given its price and the better intrinsic deals associated with the TT Sub C and TT Daytona.
Also, whichever watch I purchase will be purchased from an AD.
Any thoughts? Can I do better in terms of discounts from an AD?

Thanks,
Ken

Ask for more, especially on the WG Sub.

Why not a SS DJII?

My suggestion is SS DJII or SubC (so you own the old and the new one).

You can definitely do better on a WG Sub discount. I know AD's who will order it for you and give you a much better deal. Call around and you will find better deal!!

TT Daytona with a Blue Arabic dial is, in my opinion, one of the best looking watches that Rolex, or indeed any watch company does at the moment

Instead of the WG Sub, why not go for a far more stealthy Patek Philippe? Or must it be a Rolex?

A Daytona of any sort would complete an already impressive collection.

You will have air, sea and land covered.

I feel like Rolex iconic watches are the the SUB or GMT sports models and the DJ. I would suggest getting a SS DJ to make your Rolex collection complete. Good luck with whatever you decide.

I will also say TT Daytona would be fantastic but I will throw another in the ring. The Green Milgauss is a beautiful watch that is stunning in person.

I would say no TT. I would say go for a SS Daytona and you have a great trifecta.

Or a GV.

My vote would be for the WG Sub first...if you just don't feel you can justify the purchase it would be for the TT Sub-C LN.

If you can comfortably afford it, the WG blue sub. A lot of things could be embarrassing; buying a fine watch that you can afford at a good price legitimately should not be one of them.

If your not comfortable buying the WG sub, I'd go with a like new TT daytona with the dial of your choice.

A WG Sub purchase actually makes me slightly uncomfortable because I can purchase without strain. A fair number of friends that I have gone through life with are not doing as well financially as they once were. The disparity between us is widening and if I purchased the WG Sub, they would be told I purchased an SS Sub. This by the way is not a major stumbling block, just a little one. My enjoyment is slightly tempered by the fact that some of my friends would look at $25,000 as a small windfall, using it for more basic necessities, whereas I would be wearing it on my wrist. But hey, let me lighten the mood. Man that WG Sub is nice!

Thanks,
Ken
