New addition w/amateur pics v.2...

Ok, I'm still learning from the Pro's on this site.

I couldn't help myself after trying this on at my AD's.

Thanks all for the kind words, however I'm still finding the protective plastic pieces on the YM.
Also, had 2 extra links added.

Man that's a sweet Yacht-Master Ragu.

This site is going to be bad for my marriage with the way my wife is fussing about how much time I'm spending on it.

Solo,
Saturday a friend and I took a bike ride south to Everglades National Park. Once inside the park it was 38 miles to Flamingo with nothing in-between but wildlife. Once we got to Flamingo we go to the visitor center and they have posted:

"DANGER, WILD WILDLIFE".

The week before they caught a 16' Burmese Python that stretched across the street. It weighed 175 lbs. and gave them all they could handle.

The Crocs are 14 to 18' long and weigh over 800 lbs. So considering what Nature has to offer carrying my Seecamp is the minimum.

The ranger said that people have these exotic animals until they become too large to manage, and then they release them into the Everglades and become "HUGE".

It is conservately estimated that over 93 thousand snakes have been released into the Everglades in the past 5 years!

Welcome to the Tropics

Well, not a spur of the moment thing as I've been looking at some vintage Rolex watches. Some how I kept going back to the new/modern Rolex watches.
I like that the Plat/SS YM and White Exp. II aren't all that common (visible) down here and not sure why that is.
Not having the most popular Rolex's appeals to me. However, when I first saw the Plat/SS YM in person and then tried it on and how it sits on my wrist, that was a beautiful moment.

As many have already found out and many more will find out this place is addicting.

advocatia,
those are some "awesome" pics !!!

Today I took my usual Bike ride with a few buds (not going to Daytona) and they immediately saw how brilliant the YM shined.

Seems like the Platinum goes very good with chrome!

WERNERTURNER,
sorry not an Electra Glide but a '07 Street Glide. New model comes with 96 cu. inches and a 6 speed tranny. Runs very good and strong.

JJ,
I have an 02 FatBoy for sale if your interested and I'll give you a good deal too.

I love bikes, but not at my age anymore, Ragu. Besides, in Auckland it rains most of the time....not really a bike-riding place.

An observation,
Because of the highly polished solid center bracelet links, the Platinum bezel and polished lugs edges and numbers the YM sparkles like no other Rolex I have in the sunlight.
The YM is hard not to notice when in the sunlight!
