Value of a 5508 Sub?

Hi, I hope this question isn't out of line. I am trying to determine the price of a 5508 Sub that I have an opportunity to purchase. (Sorry, I do not have any pictures and I realize how much difference that can make in a fair evaluation.) The case and dial are original. The case is a bit battered, but nothing that can't be polished out. The crystal is an original-style dome and will look fine once polished. The dial, while definately original to the watch, did at one time have lum reapplied. The print on the dial is "faded" but still legible. The bracelet is a newer Oyster with a diver expansion clasp. Please PM with a ballpark guestimate. I appreciate your help with this question. Regards, Joe White
