Brian Williams MSNBC and GMT

Here is a link below from Brian Williams NBC Nightly news covering Iraq. First clip is of him arriving at Baghdad International Airport. In 00:08 to 00.11 of the clip, you can see him looking at his Rolex GMT to see the time. Itis either a Red/Black or Red/Blue GMT. (you can use the pause button to stop and look)

Yup, Blue and Red GMT

There was a quick glimpse of his BLUE AND RED GMT, during the Inauguration broadcast. His slightly extended hand and sleeve rolled back to reveal the gorgeous GMT that it is. Very nice.

I think he could be a Rolex fan like us. I see him wear the SUB on many occasions and now this GMT. It shows you he knows how to use each watch for it's intended purpose. When he travels it seems he uses the GMT, on television I see him with the SUB.

He also has a Daytona that he wears at his news desk, the GMT must be for travel

I can see why he'd need a GMT. Pretty sure I've seen him wear a Daytona as well.

I just ran home for lunch and watched some of the coverage with Brian Williams and others. I could clearly see his GMT II which I believe he has had for a while. Looks like a 'coke' to me.

I would have to say I believe his favorite is his GMT as it seems every time I see him I spot that watch on his wrist. I first noticed him wearing a GMTII when he hosted SNL a while ago (he was actually pretty funny in a few bits)...you could clearly see the GMT in his opening monologue.

The watch is getting a lot of air time today during his inauguration coverage.

It would make sense for a news reporter to wear a GMT, especially if they travel a lot.

I know this is an old thread, but . . . saw an article on Brian Williams in the LA Times in the last day or two and he was wearing a Daytona in the picture.

Do you think he shops on TRF?

Wonder if - aside from JJ - there are celebrities in our midst here at Ye Olde TRF??
