There seems to be a striking new resemblance between the new SuperOcean and the classic Submariner. Anyone else notice this?

I thought the same thing when I saw new SO on pictures. But in flesh, it`s a whole different story. I like the new SO very much, but I`m some kind more attached to older model, and this new one is far more "blingy" than any Sub out there.

I too like the new SO, however, I wish they would offer it on the mesh bracelet the Heritage model comes on, that would be an awesome combo.

Tried on the new SO and felt heavier and taller... And just can't warm up to the rubber bezel insert. The bracelet version to be the one for me. Will post a pic of wrist shot later
