Come on Eric, give us a hint.

Is it a watch?

White dial or Black Dial.

Starts with a????

Slate dial.... Slate dial...

Let me think about this.

EDIT: It's a Vacheron Constantin Overseas non-chrono with with a titanium bezel on a leather strap.

Am I far off?

Charlie - great guess, that would be the VC if i were to get one now. that thing is a beauty and bloody comfortable. you hardly would notice it on your wrist (used to be white dial Overseas Auto for me )

but - back to the subject, yes, you are far off

I don't know how to interpret that, but I'm interpreting it as a hint.

I'm determined to get this.

All I have to work on is a black dial (or grey, which I've interpreted as slate), I'm guessing it's not a "higher up" brand as you would've mentioned it. I'm guessing it's a Panerai or a B&R currently.

No, it's not the top 3 brands or any brands to be considered as luxury or blingy.....

As for the dial - let's stick with black-ish for now.
