Official San Francisco GTG Picture Thread...

Well, it turned out to be a nice day in San Francisco. The streets were packed with Giants fans, folks walking for Breast Cancer awareness and tourists - hopefully the latter were spending money / stimulating the economy!

Here is the fine establishment where Dr. Robert (Bob). Art 161 (Art), Sakuraba (Jib) and Speed (Bill) met up to GTG.

Like many San Francisco establishments, this place was tucked away....down a little alley in the heart of Downtown...

First things First (after greetings and salutations of course)

The Wrist Shots...

Our waitress said the Pepsi's & Explorer I were her favorite watches...

My Vintage Oyster Perpetual side by side with Dr. Robert's DJ...

The Table Shot.

Loved the comment by the Waitress (said in her rich Irish brogue) " Now would not be the time fer a robbery, aie? "

The TRFers:

Dr. Robert (Bob):

Art161 (Art)

Sakuraba (Jib) and Speed (Bill)

Group Shot

After the GTG, we hit a couple ADs. Did not get a shot at Shreve, but we actually stopped by this place as well - and were asked very politely if we needed help. Quite nice!

Jib and Bob - wishing this place would open soon! It's fall, 2010... right?

Great pix JJ but Jib doesn't look as tough as he makes out.

Looks like a bit of a pussy to moi.

PS JJ. I see a couple of missed skypes - I am having a small connection problem with NZ?

The secret's out! I'm not Kazushi Sakuraba!
And yeah, I'm the one without any armhair in the wrist pics.

Gee, wish I would've known about this. I would've taken a few less naps today watching the Niners and Raiders lose.

Looks like you guys had a swell time!

Hey Rob...Art is one of the few city-dwelling Panda's I have ever had the pleasure to have met.

BTW, are you now...a Mod? You are a "made" TRFer. Un-ban-able.

Wow

Sorry FusionStorm. We had posted the GTG in the Meeting Point section a few times. We may try to do a quick promo in the regular forum section - if the Mod's think that's OK (Hint, Hint Rob) prior to the next GTG.

A fun GTG @ a fun place w/ fun guys! I had a good time.....Art "punked" me & Jib......we didn't know what he looked like.....he approached us as a well dressed San Franciscan/Market St. panhandler....had a plastic cup w/ some coins in it...asked us for spare change for bamboo shoots & Rolexes! He got us good!

(p.s. Art is shy.....something to do with witness protection or something???)

Hopefully we can set up more gtg's in the city of San Francisco in the near future.......I am thinking soon as Jib/sakuraba is leaving town for a while.

You can post where you like next time but I'm sure it will be moved over...
