Are you multi-fora?

I think I spent too much time at watch fora. I have 4 on my favourite list which I automatically check into every time I have Net access. Of the Rolex fora, I believe TRF to be the most active.

How many watch fora have you bookmarked?

I've got four bookmarked but only really 'pop in' to the other three after surfing TRF thoroughly....

The others are great sites too but I just kinda feel like I 'belong' here.

3 for me - only dicovered this site about 6/ 7 months ago

Normally I save this to last as its the most active\ interesting & I like the open forum too

The good thing about these forums especially one of the others that been on for about 4/ 5 years is you get to know names\ reputations. I've asked\ been given advise by a guy in the US twice about watches that were for sale by other sellers. Both times he advised that the watches I was looking at were too expensive for what they were. Both times the watches were for sale 4/ 5 weeks later at $1K+ less. The guy could have ignored my emails but took time out to send me his opinion which was much appreciated & valued by me at time

If I ever get round to visiting New York - I'll ask if he's around for a drink (on me of course !!!)

I get a good vibe from this forum and this forum appears to be the most active Rolex forum I have found.

I have seen where people on this forum generally try to help others. Advise, knowlege and other things which gives the place a sense of community.

I normally go to two forums, TRF and another popular one. I find the other one more diverse in terms of brands, but as far as friendliness and level of activity TRF is really the one to look at. So much info and so many pictures to drool over. People are much more accepting and there's none of that snobbery here that you find in other sites....just my 2 cents.

Love the level of Rolex activity here. WUS is great for Omega!

TRF is definitely nr.1 for me, but I also visit WUS everyday. Over at WUS it's the Omega & Seiko sections who gets most of my attention.

Cheers,
Joe

I frequent TZ-UK, WUS, TURF and TRF. TRF has become my default Rolex site because it's lively and friendly.

6. One of them is WUS and I very, very rarely visit there anymore. Too hard to navigate. One other I just joined and have never posted or been back, watchkeepers I think it's called. WTF, stopped posting at exactly 10,,000 posts. This and TZ are my main watch forums.

I have seven bookmarked. This is the one I visit most often. I go to others too read and post occasionally.

Most are friendly, but not as active as here.

One I joined recently went ballistic when I posted a "what are you wearing today" thread. Smartalec comments (which are OK to a limit) and one diatribe about that forum being above all that.

I signed out and deleted the bookmark. I don't even remember the name.

I spend 90% of my internet time on TRF, and the other 10% goes to Jake's watch blog.
