GP SeaHawk Reviews and opinions?

GP SeaHawk Reviews and opinions?

Much appreicated, do not know much about this brand. Quality, reputations, ruggedness, reliablility?

Tried one on at a dealer, very nice fitting and looking watch. Great Illum.

Thought I might reply even though I haven't purchased the GP yet. I hope to buy one soon and did some research and everything I found out came out thumbs up. It has great lume, as you mentioned, has a very stable manufacture movement (which GP is welll known for), has a very tough case with great stem/crown protection. The bracelet is very nice and I found the fit of the piece to be quite nice on my wrist. So overall, I am a big fan, just still saving away. Best of luck.

Yeah, I love the 40mm case design, the crown and 4 oclock and the bracelet. You are right on the lum. Probably the best on any luxury watch I have seen. Very classy and hard core dive watch. The 40mm Seahawk Classique I looked at was gong for around $6000 here in Bangkok.

I like the 40 mm as well, but the 42 is good as well. It's a real diver, just like you said and I love it. The only other luxury watches I know of with the good lume like that is the Ulysse Nardin Marine Diver Chronometer (and the Omega Seamaster and Planet Ocean models of course). I hope I can buy the Sea Hawk II this year. Helluva diver if you ask me. If you get one and have a camera, I hope you will give us a photo. Good luck. I think GP makes wonderful watches in many categories.
