"SWISS_MADE" vs "SWISS____MADE" on dial
I noticed in the reviews section of the Yacht-Master (http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=40684), below the 6p o'clock marker, it says SWISS MADE. Some of the watches have significantly more space between the 2 words than others. What is the difference?? Different years or something? Experts please help. Help appreciated.

All watches have some variation in their painted dials from time to time...
It seems that Rolex has a following that peruses every aspect of such things and tries to asign a meaning.... Usually it's nothing more than a new printer set-up........ they do wear out quickly and don't give a crisp font if not replaced......

So this is normal amongst all models, not just the YachtMaster? I'm surprised - since it's actually a very significant difference. I wasn't sure if certain if one of the two variations was an after-market dial or fake. Last edited by JJL; 3 December 2010 at 09:55 AM.. Reason: sdf |

Well, that could certainly be the case too....... but a simple variation doesn't/shouldn't automatically condemn the dial...
