Navy Straps
Hi all
Can anyone recommend an online company to purchase a navy strap for my Explorer I. Seen a recent post here with images and going to give it a go. Cheers Mark |

Not sure what you mean by navy.........
If you mean the Nylon NATO type of strap, there are a lot of members who have their favorite vendor........I'm not really a fan... (OK, I do have one all black Nylon strap on an old Explorer II).. but there are plenty of paces to get them from........

Nato
I got mine here a couple weeks ago when I had the same question. http://www.countycomm.com/Watches.htm
The site looks a little crunchy, but the guy was nice enough and I got everything within a week or so. Less the time I had to hassle with UPS about them only delivering things when I'm not at home. The only caveats I'd point out is that the orange one doesn't fit through the space between the luggy bit and the watch itself. The "bond" style nato and the black one fit, but barely. It's also a bit of a pain getting the original band off. |

Btw
You need the 20mm strap for the Explorer 1, 36mm bezel.

Navy was an easy slip if you live near a naval port, considering NATO stands for North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Australia though is probably quite a way from the nearest NATO member country port
Try this site. I have bought a few from him, including the Bond style. He mentions that if you buy two or more, he ships for free internationally. http://natostrap.blogspot.com/search...n%208%20colors He also sell on Ebay. I would just check out his offerings on Ebay and email him at the address on the blogspot page if you want any. He has more variety on the Ebay listings. http://shop.ebay.com/bicycleman/m.ht..._from=&_ipg=25 Here is my 6150 Explorer on a Nato from him. Robert |
