Young buck from Tennessee
Hello TRF!
My name is Josh, and I'm 22 years old. About a year ago, I started working at a jewelry store here in my city that is the only authorized Rolex retailer in the area. I absolutely fell in love with watches, but the beauty and craftsmanship of the entire Rolex line definitely intrigued me. After getting over the initial sticker price, and asking the very question I now dread- "Why in the world would anyone pay THAT for a watch?", I started really studying them, and I completely fell in love. Currently, I'm a spanish major in college, working two full time jobs, and loving every minute of life. I love watches, but my stupid college budget prevents me from getting my dream rolex- currently it's a tie between a silver dial datejust with a jubilee bracelet and fluted white gold bezel and a datejust II silver dial and fluted bezel. I just don't know if the size of the datejust II will still make it a classic fifteen or twenty years from now. My everyday watches definitely rotate between my seiko skx007 on a James Bond Nato strap, my white dial Citizen eco drive on a brown leather band, and my black dial Eco-drive on a black leather band. I love them all, but I'm definitely holding out for that special Rolex one day. I've really enjoyed reading the few forums I've seen so far, and I hope to be an active and informed member! |

Welcome to the forums!

Another welcome from Nashville! I think the Datejust II will still be "in-style" 20 years from now so don't let that deter you.
