Question on folded jubilee 6251H
Hi,
This is the first time I post on this forum and pretty new in the Rolex world (I have "only" an Air King bought this year but shure it wont' be the last one). I am greatly interested in DJ 1601 and 1603 and had a question regarding jubilee folded band. I saw that a majority of them had folded steel plates that were notched on the inner side (this can be easily viewed on side photos of band). Some others have flat inner side. Here are some photos to illustrate this question. A kind expert here could have a point of view on a possible fake vs real status for those two kinds of band. Thanks in advance and sorry for my english (not native tongue ... ). Kind regards |

Bienvenu a TRF!
I think (but not sure) that early jubilee bands were like yours , then the D link (link shaped like a D) and Oval links followed. J'espere que ca peut t'aider. |

My first photo shows one with some sorts of dent on the inner side of the folded steel plate around the shafts. The two others show the other kind wihtout thoses dents around the shafts : the folded steel plate is flat. Hope that's more clear... Thanks anyway & bonne soirée |
