an ad had a sub c on hold for me.
if not then i will take a trip to the burlington arcade on the 4 jan

I tried the new Sub at my AD, it is a very nice looking watch, but i still prefer my older Sub.

Do you want a smaller or larger wrist presence?

Do you appreciate the new clasp and think it's worth the extra money?

Do you actually dive and therefore might worry about the ceramic banging on sharp rocks while underwater?

thats what iam not sure about the case, it kind of makes the watch look more square that and the lugs.

I like them both. Overall, I would choose the classic Sea Dweller over either one. If I could not have a 16600 then I would choose the new Sub C. Too many improvements to ignore.

I honestly don't see how people like the older model better? Unless your going for a clasic look. What's there not to love about the new sub-c???

Of course, it is a matter of opinion, but the older sub and GMT models are more faithful to the concept of the "tool watch" than the newer ones. The newer ones tend to add a "jewelry" touch to the image--but this is just me. I am also affected by the possibility to buy used from a trusted seller here at a considerable discount to you. Enjoy.

Does a few grams really make a difference? I am far from a strong person but I can't say I notice a difference from one watch to the next while wearing them, weight wise. If it was a dssd or a propplof then I'd understand but nob old to new sub IMHO.
